As a psychologist for more than 50 years, I have experience with individuals from early childhood to old age and with a variety of mental health and behavioral challenges. I began my career in upstate New York with a focus on children and families. My professional curiosity and commitment to growth have led me to continue to expand my understanding of emotional and mental difficulties and to seek approaches to provide support and treatment to those in need. After relocating to Oregon, I formed a team providing intensive therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder. Individuals with behavioral and emotional challenges secondary to neurodiverse conditions such as autism and attention deficit disorder have been a focus and have expanded my understanding of the complexity of brain function. My more recent interest in psychedelics has arisen from the awareness that some conditions in certain individuals do not respond well to traditional treatment approaches and medications. In particular, trauma, especially developmental trauma, and certain depressive conditions require innovative approaches to help create meaningful change. As I continue to continue to address the challenges presented by my clients, I am also excited to incorporate new tools to support individuals across the age span seeking relief from trauma and renewed interest in living life to its fullest
