Dr. Lindsey Lerner, PsyD

Hi, I’m Dr. Lindsey Lerner-a clinical psychologist, certified death doula, and licensed psilocybin facilitator based in Portland, Oregon. My work is grounded in a deep respect for the human experience, especially during times of grief, transformation, and transition. Whether I’m supporting someone through the end of life, holding sacred space during a psychedelic journey, or providing support to someone in the aftermath of loss, my approach is warm, relational, and deeply human.
I’ve been in the field of mental health for over 17 years, with a background in health psychology and a specialization in trauma, grief, and existential concerns. I’m trained in EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, Relational Gestalt Therapy and psychedelic-assisted therapy, and I work most often with people who are navigating life’s big thresholds-death, identity, illness, and rebirth.
As a licensed psilocybin facilitator in Oregon, I offer legal psychedelic sessions and I’m especially interested in the role of plant medicine in end-of-life care, spiritual exploration, and reconnecting with one’s inner wisdom. My own spiritual path has been deeply impacted by non-ordinary states of consciousness and the ways these states can facilitate deep healing. I bring reverence for these medicines and for people’s innate inner healing into the work that I do.
I care deeply about accessibility, integrity, and creating spaces where people can feel fully themselves. Whether we’re meeting for a session or sharing sacred ceremony space, my intention is always to help people come home to who they are and to feel more fully alive, no matter what stage of life they are in.
