Nina Wyngethrin

I approach facilitation with the acceptance, warmth, generosity, patience, and celebration that I live my life with. I’ve developed these skills through a career in special education and community service and through my lived experience as a gentle, introverted, queer woman. I’m grateful to have been raised in a family that supported and fostered my growth mindset and sense of possibility.
Each of us have visible and invisible differences that may impact our sense of self, and belonging. I honor and celebrate the strengths that often go unrecognized in the dominant culture and hold space to recognize and value our unique selves, with all of our quirks and learned survival strategies.
I show up as my authentic self, with an open heart; I listen with curiosity, and know that trust is earned. I hold space gently and give you autonomy and spaciousness to allow your experience to unfold. The delicate process of self-discovery and acceptance begins when you sign up for a session and continues through the integration of the lessons and insights after your psilocybin experience; I will be right there with you.
My goal is to help you prepare for the experience by honing in on your internal resources that will support you along the way. I will also listen to your hopes, fears, insights, perspectives, experiences and expectations and help you to settle on an intention that will allow you to relax into the process and stay curious to whatever unfolds for you.
When I'm not facilitating I enjoy being in nature, hiking, gardening, dancing, singing and connecting with family and friends. I care for myself with yoga, journalling and gratitude practices, talk therapy, massage, and having my own psilocybin experiences.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Women's Studies from San Francisco State University and a Master of Special Education from the University of Hawaii. I am a graduate of the first cohort of Subtle Winds Psilocybin Facilitation Training Program (2023) and was a Lead Educator for the Subtle Winds training program in 2024. I hold an Oregon psilocybin facilitator license and service worker permit.
