I come to this work with an interest in the creative aspect of remembering and reclaiming self. We are a species who find nourishment and belonging in meaning and at some level all suffering seems to be a crisis of meaning. In this work what becomes clear is that we are all sorting through unprocessed grief, that is a part of being human and the precursor to profound meaning. Psilocybin is a beautiful and ancient tool to help come to terms with grief within a relational container or with what we now call a “facilitator” in an intentional setting. In my opinion we all seek to tell our own story back to ourselves so that we may finally understand it. Psilocybin invites us to listen deeply so that we can continue the process of becoming more whole, more authentic and more integrated. As a facilitator and a coach, I walk beside clients as a person, not an expert or a healer, but an equal and an alley who is also trying to find my way home. I believe that myths and stories are our ancestors because they are what remains and can not be completely forgotten. We are literally made and woven of stories- our childhoods, our fantasies, even DNA is a kind of origin story. For me this work is about connecting to myth and regaining the agency, the courage and the audacity to write your own. I show up in this work as an artist because I believe that individuation is an art, the oldest art, and that fully existing is one of the most creative and radical acts we are capable of.
I graduated from Innertrek’s Psilocybin Facilitator program in 2023 and I am a Jungian Coach. I am also the co-director of Gather Psilocybin Community Service Center. My passion is integrating the gems we want to bring back from the unknown. I would be honored to follow you there and hear about how you can bring it back here.
